5 best horror games
Into the Dead 2
If you're familiar with Into the Dead, you'll find yourself at home with this title. For those who don't know, this is a widely popular zombie game that has attracted millions of users from around the world. There are multiple games in this genre, but this one strikes as being the most fun. The game consists of standard chapters split into 60 stages, and a variety of in-game challenges to further you up the ladder. The story evolves constantly, which means there are multiple ways the game could end. This makes for a more exciting experience as one user's gameplay will be different from the other's.
To make killing zombies even more satisfying, there are a variety of weapons to choose from. You can also choose to go after the zombies with a knife or simply on foot. The varied gameplay allows you to reach a particular conclusion using multiple methods. Naturally, the difficulty gets harder and harder as you progress through the game. This means your weapons will have to be updated regularly to match up to the quantity of zombies coming towards you. This is also where in-app purchases come in, helping you level up your gear to fight the enemy more efficiently.
The app might require an internet connection to work smoothly, and it is recommended to be on Wi-Fi. You can download Into the Dead 2 for free, but there are ads and some in-app purchases in place. You can run the game as long as you have an Android smartphone or tablet running Android 4.1 or higher.
DISTRAINT: Pocket Pixel Horror
This is one of the most haunting games that I've come across. It doesn't seem all that scary, but as the story progresses, it unravels some layers that can scare most people. It has a nice message too, which helps. This is a port from the PC version, which means the developer had to make some changes to the app before deploying it to the Play Store. Needless to say, the developer has done a fantastic job with this app and we strongly recommend trying this if you're into horror games.
Visage Horror Game Download For Android Apk
You play as Price, the protagonist, and follow through his story. The challenges are quite interesting, and the entire game should take about 4 hours to finish. This is psychological horror at its best, so proceed with caution if you get scared too easily. The game isn't heavy on graphics, but the gameplay as well as the background music makes for a thrilling experience overall. The game can be downloaded for free from the Play Store, although you will have to deal with ads. There is an in-app purchase for $1.49 which will let you enjoy the game ad-free. In terms of compatibility, having a device with Android 4.0 (or better) should do the job.
Dead Effect 2
This is the sequel to the popular zombie killing game Dead Effect. The second iteration brings forth a renewed gameplay and some exciting additions to make the gameplay even better. You can have three characters here, all fully customizable with a ton of weapons and body parts (for zombies) to choose from. This game doesn't necessarily need multiplayer interaction as it has a lengthy single player campaign that can last 20+ hours. If you have the means to connect your phone to a bigger screen, we highly recommend playing this with a Bluetooth controller.
The game is designed for the SHIELD as well, so if you own one of NVIDIA's consoles, the gameplay should be on par with most modern consoles. The graphics will definitely impress the users as there are multiple new elements added to the mix. If you're new to the Dead Effect franchise, this is probably the best game to start with. The game can be downloaded for free and is ad-supported. You can upgrade your weapons and other aspects using in-app purchases. The game is compatible with devices on Android 4.1 and up.

I Have No Mouth
This is an incredibly popular game back in the 90s in the form of a PC title based on the short story 'I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream' by Harlan Ellison. The gameplay will remind you of the classic games of the 90s with mostly pixel and shaky characters. That adds to the appeal of the game, to be honest, and I wouldn't have it any other way. There's customizable music too, although the choice is quite limited.
You can conveniently alternate between touch mode and classic mode, allowing you the flexibility to play the way you want. There are five characters in the game who are the survivors of a mass extinction. These five people are punished to live immortally in this new world to pay for their sins. Each character can progress through the journey in different ways, which adds multiple endings to the mix. The puzzles can surely tickle your brain a bit and can be time consuming to solve at times. The game is not free, however. You'll have to shell out $3.99 for this on the Play Store. On the upside, you won't get ads or any other in-app purchases, you get the entire game for the aforementioned price. Be sure to check it out from the Play Store.
Rusty Lake Hotel
This is a pretty haunting game on its own, offering a pretty catchy soundtrack and a gameplay consisting of 6 rooms. Each room has its own music, which adds to the overall experience. There's a lot of mystery and suspense with the game, with the brain teasers testing your mental ability efficiently. You can collect items along the way to use them during the course of your journey. It's a unique game with a varied type of characters, which is something that we don't come across a lot. All the characters are animals, by the way. Rusty Lake Hotel will cost you $1.99, and comes with no ads or in-app purchases.
